Being an owner managed, independent business, you can be guaranteed that the team you meet is the team that does the work. At Adaptive, what you see is what you get. Every project will have input from each of the three business owners, supported by a top class team of engineers and office staff.

Andy Sumner – Managing Director

Following a career spanning almost 25 years in the M&E industry, Andy established Adaptive Cooling Limited alongside Blaine Sutton back in 2005, after working together at the same mechanical services company. Andy spends a great deal of his time working closely with our clients, providing creative and new ideas. He is passionate about efficient and cost-effective designs.

Blaine Sutton – Contracts Director

One of Blaine’s many strengths is his consistency in delivering a successful project from start to finish; having worked for a number of prestigious M&E companies, from Junior Design Engineer to Contracts Director over the past 22 years, Blaine has a wealth of experience to share with our clients. His ability to complete works on time, within budget and to a high standard ensures project success .

Rod Walker – Contracts Director

Having run his own successful installation, service & commissioning company since 1995, Rod joined forces with ACL in August 2009, bringing with him a team of experienced engineers and an in-depth practical knowledge of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services. Rod’s aptitude for problem solving and building relationships with clients & suppliers alike ensures every project runs smoothly and reaches a successful conclusion.

M&E CAD Engineers

Having our own CAD design engineer as part of the office team means we can design, amend and produce drawings without delay for our clients, which means less cost and faster response times.

Office Staff

Our friendly, comprehensive support team is responsible for the smooth running of the office, dealing with accounts, maintenance, administration and general enquiries. Manning the phones from 8.30am – 5.30pm, they will be happy to help with any enquiries.
